Wow the summer is almost over. What a bummer. Soon we will be stuck in the house again. I'm not a big fan of winter sports- I'm too fond of my fingers and toes. We shoulda coulda woulda done a lot more fun stuff than we have. Jason has been working his butt off lately and when he is home he is usually exhausted and I feel bad dragging him around. Still, we are enjoying the wonderful things that come with this time of year. Right now we are living on a seemingly endless supply of zucchini and zucchini bread. And I am crossing my fingers that Jason's yummy apricot strawberry freezer jam will last forever, but at the rate I am eating it up I predict a few more weeks. I have been making a lot of Eden's fruit and veggie mush from the garden and the orchard. She seems to love it. Saves us a lot of money too.
I can't believe how big my little Eden doll is getting. I just bought her a ton of new clothes. Her pants were looking pretty short on her. I started realizing that it has been a while since she wore long pants and I didn't even know she had grown out of them. We had just been sticking her in a onesie since it was so hot.
I myself am OUT OF MY MIND busy lately. I am hand feeding birds, trying to schedule 2 tours of the mine with family, dealing with the attorney and the surrogate agency, shuffling kids around to dance and soccer, and among all of it I am trying to get the house painted, the lawn greened up and the carpets cleaned before the birthday parties. Eden's party is this Saturday and then we have BraeLynne's in November. But this is what life is all about. I love every minute of it and I wouldn't change a thing.
