So here we are. It's 2010 and as I look back I just can't imagine where the time has gone. Jason and I met in 1999 and married August 4th, 2001. Since then we have had 3 beautiful children- Ashley, BraeLynne and Eden- to add to the instant family we already had with my step-son Riley. Together we make a very colorful but well rounded and happy little family. For the last few years my job has been at home. It is such a wonderful privelege to be able to be there every day for my children. Jason, on the other hand, keeps very busy outside the home. In addition to his full time job in maintenance at the Sufco coal mine, he is also known as SSG Christensen with the Utah National Guard AND he is a member of the Holden Volunteer Fire Department. As if that wasn't enough to keep a person on their feet, he just started doing Veterans' Honors funerals this year. I am so proud to be married to a man with such loyalty for country and community and such passion for what he believes in.

Eden's 1st Birthday Party

Eden turned one October 2nd, and we had her birthday party Saturday October 3rd. I was really stressing out trying to get ready in time all by myself, but as always it turned out just fine. Actually, I was in the middle of painting the living room and I wasn't able to get it finished, but it was ok. The decorations showed up on time and they were super cute. Everything was pink ladybugs with hot pink, baby pink and lime green. Boy did that clash with my new brown and blue kitchen! We had an awesome turnout. We crammed 31 people in my tiny little house. Thankfully it was a decent day so we overflowed to the lawn half the time. Eden got sooo many nice toys and cute clothes. What I can't figure out is how everyone knew she needed 18 months size. Only one person asked. She got a few 12 months too, and that is what she is in now, so it worked out perfectly. Thanks again to all who came and all who sent gifts! It was so great to see everyone.

Now we move on to Halloween and BraeLynne's Birthday.
